After years away, T20 cricket is returning to Blackburn with the launch of the Blackburn District T20 Cricket League for the 2027 season.
The league will bring local clubs and independent teams together in a standard T20 format, with matches scheduled to take place on Sundays. The season is expected to begin around May 2027, giving teams across Blackburn and the surrounding areas the opportunity to compete in an organised local T20 competition.
Applications are now officially open for teams interested in taking part.
